My practice could be seen as an attempt to visualise infinity through recursion, using the principle of (digital) photography: On various scales and involving different media, all my work has been focussed on the process of «taking an image» – and furthering that process towards infinity: «taking an image of an image» This process incorporates the approach of having the viewer (observer) interfere by her or his mere presence. It is informed by the idea of a second order observation, of observing the observation – in my work I am trying to give the viewer the position of a second order observer.
