In my practice, I create images, like pale memories. I attempt to alight a place uncanny, in between past or imagination.
I use disposable-cameras to take photographs of everyday moment and then apply different levels of degradation and deformation.
I explore a field of un-focused, blurred images, like un-certain memories. I am looking for a sensation of melancholia with contemporary subjects. Hence, I experiment on the pictorial quality and materiality of the images with technics such as: erasure, superposition, drawings, painting, and photo transfer. The images become a translation of memories and, by adding elements they become like fragmented narratives. Therefor, combine together they form a place uncanny. Here, the images become like secrets unveiled to the viewer.
